The 3 day celebration this year included many favorite events, such as, a golf cart parade and the ever popular Survivor Games. Everyone gathered in the meadow for the fireworks show followed by a dance hosted with DJ Dave. This years fireworks display was one of the best we have ever had, each year they get better and better.

The new cabins were completed this month and booked solid during the 4th of July weekend.
Enjoy staying in one of our 4 New cabins! Spacious designs, Linens and shower towels provided along with coffee service and mini fridge.

Struck from Above
Recently we experienced a lightening strike with the flash causing this tree to split.
A single lightning event is a "flash" or an electric discharge between the atmosphere and an earth-bound object. Most ground to cloud flashes are only about one inch in diameter and "strike" in one physical location. Only About 25% of all lightning events worldwide are strikes between the atmosphere and earth-bound objects. The tree was located close to the maintenance shed, fortunately, there were no injuries or property damage. |

Stacie's Story
continued.....
We started Oak Lake Trails Naturist Park In 1992 when I was 8 years old. Boy, what a childhood my brother and I had. We helped my parents build the trails, raking leaves and moving rocks. I watched the building of the clubhouse, it was fun to watch all the kids slide on the black top when it rained. I always loved running through the woods with nothing on but my skin, I felt so free! Now my son is growing up in this lifestyle and he loves to run and play outside nude just like we did. It's a great feeling to be here where you can take off your clothes and be youself and everyone is ok with it. |

Local News
The City of Stroud will be hosting the "Shop & Dine Local" event this Thursday.
Downtown stores will be open late, pop-up vendors, food, pony rides, checkers and coloring on the corner for children, live music and picnic tables.
Stroud is part of a seven county rural area that is centrally located between Oklahoma City and Tulsa next to I/44. OLT is a proud member of the Chamber of Commerce and also supports the local food bank.

It's called "Augmented Reality" and Interestingly it's getting people out of the house, exploring their communities and meeting new people. Finally someone found a good use for the smart phone, helping people to socially interact while getting some exercise! We have had over 20 sightings here at the park! #pokemongo |
