Located behind the office between the entrances to Trails 5 and 7. What can you dispose of?​   A message from Gary S: (OLT - President) To all who were able to attend  & participate in OLT's  meetings on Sat March 24th. I thank you!  We accomplished a great deal. We have some additions to our BOD that,will bring us fresh, new ideas. Our new VP is Joe L., Secretary is Alice H., and we added Ken S.   Also, we will be getting the new directory & meeting minutes out in the coming weeks. (The "minutes" will be posted in the Forum on the website when available) Each month we Highlight one of our OLT members! Ruby has been a "God Send" to OLT!  She is doing a great job finding new ways to keep us entertained!  One of the reasons we enjoy her efforts is because she is open to listening to members ideas.  Maintaining a "robust" schedule of events is a challenge.  The goal has always been to create a welcoming environment for new guests while also finding creative ways to entertain our current membership.  She is always willing to listen to suggestions and help anyone who has an idea.  We have many members who have volunteered their time, effort and knowledge.  While we always welcome new guests,  we also honor those that have been here and given for many years.  Her vision for Oaklake is to find new ways of bringing people together so we can all enjoy this wonderful thing we call "OLT".  You may also contact her through the office, or submit an idea by email: office@oaklaketrails.com Amazing food for Sunday Brunch! Classifieds OLT MEMBERS FORUM A quick note about the Calendar: We are identifying "official" lines of communication.  This is to benefit all members and guests alike.  The official "Events/Activities" Calendar is on our website.  We encourage anyone with ideas for events to email the office with a written version (times & dates) of your activity, event or idea so we can get it on the Calendar!  We are here to serve you and communication is key.  We want to provide everyone with proper information.  Currently, there are 3 "official" OLT channels of communication: Calendar:  Located on the OLT website.  Includes an online PDF for printing, or offline printed version available in the office. Email:   office@oaklaketrails.com | oaklaketrails@gmail.com.  Either email will suffice and will be forwarded to the OLT Activities Coordinator. Forum: The OLT Annual Members forum is a great way for members to post on their own and stay connected. For Social Media Promotion:  Current profiles include -Facebook, Twitter, Blogger and various other platforms, which we are continually developing. Oaklake Trails is all about enjoying the naturist lifestyle together.  To meet people of "like mind" and share good times!  We understand there are many ways for members to communicate online and we are in no way attempting to ignore, confuse or re-invent them.  Please share, enjoy, plan, chat, invite and have fun!  Our goal is to simply provide the right information in an official format and to have it all in one place. If you don't see it on the park calendar, it's not an "official" event. In order to place your event on the OLT calendar, simply Email us and we will be happy to help you "get the word out" by posting on all possible OLT channels in order to make your event a success! View this email in your browser Share Tweet Forward OLT Office Mon-Tue-Fri-Sat-Sun OLT Annual Members Board Meeting: All are free to attend the Open Session on March 24 at 10:00am OAKLAKE TRAILS MISSION STATEMENT We will continue to develop Oaklake Trails Naturist Park to the complete satisfaction of our members, guests, visitors, stockholders, and others who support us. VISION STATEMENT: We continue to be the premier family-oriented nudist park in the South-West Region. STRATEGIC DIRECTIVES: 1. We will exceed the expectations of all who support family nude recreation a. We will provide the facilities, infrastructure, and services our customers expect. b. We will provide a robust calendar of events and activities for our customers. 2. We will grow the business. a. We will continue to raise the level of public awareness of Oaklake Trails Naturist Park, AANR, AANR-SW, TNS, and family nude recreation by all means available. b. We will identify and meet the changing needs of our customers. c. We will make sound, fundamental business decisions grounded in logic and common sense. 3. We will support our communities. 4. We will recognize our successes. OLT Annual Members may log into the Forum for information about the BOD Interest Indicator Application Form. (Forms are also available in the office.) "Grounds and Facilities" have been hard at work this month getting the park ready for the summer season! Dave is hard at work grading the roads!  He is amazing on this machine!  Our roads should be a lot easier to navigate when he is done. The volleyball pool is undergoing maintenance. The Fellas are fixing it for the new season!   Brenda has done a great job of placing new signs around the park to "dress" things up a bit!  She is very creative with designs and is willing to make signs for anyone who might want one for their golf cart, home or business, and she does it for reasonable rates. Can you find all the signs around "town"? Our Activities Director Ruby is doing a fine job of providing good entertainment for the dances along with great potlucks and activities.  She works tirelessly decorating the clubhouse to create an environment we can all enjoy! John has also been instrumental in the planning of activities as well as the execution of and cleaning up after each event. Brenda volunteered her time and expertise to help people write "thank you" note's to other members. Many have volunteered over the years and since the list is too long to name we would like to say, to all of our Members and OLT Family: THANK YOU for making this such a great place to visit and a wonderful community to be a part of! NEW Members Forum! OLT Annual Members have a new place online to share, connect, meet & greet, discuss, plan activities, and much more.  This is new and we are still testing the possibilities.   The idea is to give Oaklake Trails Annual Members a secure place online to share and connect that is for members, eye's only. We are not attempting to compete with other online social platforms, we simply saw a need to stay connected in a safe "members only" environment.  So many times we find it difficult or frustrating to share our experiences at OLT in an online format for fear of exposing our fellow members privacy. Member Privacy is our main concern.  There are many other platforms to use for communication so why do we need it?  Wouldn't it be nice to be able to share? Have you had a fun experience at OLT?  Did you enjoy the volleyball game or potluck? Did you have fun at the dance? Want to share a pic or story?  Need to discuss something? Would you like to meet other members or plan a get-together on your next outing? Use the Forum. How can you stay connected to what's happening at the park when you can't be here?  How do you meet or connect with new members? Use the Forum.  These are just a few of the possibilities, you get the idea. Where else can you go online knowing that the only people who will see it are OLT Members?  The Forum is designed exactly for that purpose. Each forum participants name and email is verified through the office before being allowed access. So have fun, post a hello, start a discussion, post a pic (such as a pretty sunset), help plan an activity, make a new friend, offer a product or service to other members or just stay in touch. Click the create a post button to share and post.  Click on a post to see a reply button. Use the reply button to join the discussion. If you create a post you can also delete it anytime.  The forum will send you a notification through email if new content is posted.  You can also follow specific members or posts if you want to be notified of new updates on a specific topic or category. Currently, there are only 3 categories but new ones are on the way!  So far we have a classified section to post things for sale to other members such as a trailer or golf cart.  You may also offer products or services to other members.
